220 cases of “nightmare bacteria” with antiobiotic-resistant genes recorded in 27 states

Antibiotic resistance has been an issue for years now but is still being taken too lightly by many. According to recent findings from the CDC, more than 220 cases of “nightmare bacteria” have been found in 27 states across the U.S. These bacteria reportedly have special genes that make them either virtually untreatable, or allow them to spread antibiotic resistance.  Read more...
