‘Cancer cases can be brought down by reducing use of pesticides’

Reducing use of chemical fertilisers and pesticides to cultivate crops was vital to bringing down number of cancer cases, said Dr Srinath, oncologist at the Sri Shankara Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, Bengaluru. Dr Srinath, who participated at a health camp organised by Arogya Musuru and the War Against Cancer foundation here on Sunday, said, “The number of people with cancer will double in the next ten years.
