Women’s Health Services at Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC) invite the community to discover how to cultivate a healthy lifestyle in 2009. A complimentary tasting event, introducing a serious solution for weight loss, will be held on Wednesday, January 28, in the medical center’s David Joseph Jurist Research Center located at 30 Prospect Avenue. Two sessions are available: the first session is from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., the second is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m.

Medical expert, Nora Zabel Tossounian, M.D., will explain the program and its benefits as well as patients’ experiences. “The program is designed to change lives by changing the way people interact with food and how they feel about themselves,” said Dr. Tossounian.

A dedicated team of medical professionals provides support and counseling, lifestyle education, and medical monitoring coupled with meal replacements to help people lose weight and reduce weight-related health risks.

The tasting event includes a variety of nutritious beverages, a door raffle, and complimentary parking. Please call 201-336-8244 to make a reservation as seating is limited.
