Changing EPA Policies May Increase Your Risk of Living in a Toxic Town

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) placed six sampling canisters in the area to measure chloroprene levels, finding the average amount was 34 times higher than the acceptable level. There are 100 synonyms for chloroprene, the chemical produced in the manufacture of neoprene. In liquid form it is less dense than water and in gas form it is heavier than air. The liquid and vapor are highly flammable and toxic if swallowed or inhaled.
