Cauliflower Buffalo Wings

A healthier twist on buffalo wings that are absolutely delicious! It is crazy to believe they are made out of vegetables.  These are perfect appetizers for any party and great for any meal. These wings will for sure not leave you or your guests disappointed!

 

Ingredients:

1     Head of cauliflower

1     Cup oat flour ( or preferred flour of choice)

1/2  Cup unsweetened almond milk or soy milk

1/4  Cup water

1 /2 Teaspoon of Pink Himalayan salt

1     Tablespoon of melted vegan butter or coconut oil

1/4  Teaspoon of black pepper

1     Teaspoon garlic powder

1/2  Cup of preferred hot sauce

1/2  Cup of barbecue sauce

 

Directions:

First start by preheating your oven to 450 degrees

Wash and cut cauliflower into bite size pieces. Steam your cauliflower for 8-10 minutes to ensure they are soft, then dry the cauliflower and place it to the side in a bowl.

Mix together all ingredients, flour, almond milk, water, hot sauce, olive oil, barbecue sauce, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Pour all the ingredients onto the cauliflower (coat well) and then place the cauliflower on a rack with a baking sheet placed underneath

Leave cauliflower to bake 30-45 minutes, turning it half way to make sure it cooks on both sides.

Once it is done you can eat it as a meal or appetizer. Enjoy!
