Fall Newsletter 2014

September 2014                                                                      Vol. 9 , No. 3
D_Imus_3_headshot_croppedDear Friends,

All of us at the Center hope your summer was a happy and healthy one. With the arrival of fall, this issue supplies you with essential tools to send kids off to a healthy and happy school year. Integrative pediatrician Dr. Lawrence Rosen offers a checklist of five ways to make this school year the best yet, from stress reduction to boosting the immune system with healthy food.

To that end, you’ll find healthy recipes to keep your loved ones fueled and thriving. And if you know of a school (or business) that could use some “greening,” give us a call. Our Greening The Cleaning® program transforms facilities by replacing toxic cleaning products with healthier alternatives. Supporting this program does more than support our Center, as it also supports programs like Camp Abilities, for children and teens who are blind or visually impaired, combining sport and recreational activities with technology and life skills development. We’re grateful to be working with such dedicated people who work to transform kids’ lives.

Wishing you health & wellness,

Deirdre Imus
