Fresh Pesto Pasta

You’ll love this delicious and healthy spin on your average pesto.  Just fresh, simple ingredients filled with vitamins, healthy fats, and protein to help you feel great, not bloated! It is free of any processed ingredients, and it tastes amazing! This Pesto Pasta will have you going back for seconds!

{ Dairy-free, Gluten-free, & Processed-free }

I recommend using all organic non GMO ingredients


4      Cups of fresh basil -- rinse

1/2   Cup of raw cashews

2      Tablespoons of raw hemp seeds

1/2   Cup of nutritional yeast

1/2    Juice of a fresh lemon

1/2    Cup of extra virgin olive oil

2       Cloves of fresh garlic

1-2    Pinches of pink himalayan sea salt

1       Pinch of black pepper

1       Box of whole wheat or gluten-free pasta

1/2    Cup of fresh chopped cherry tomatoes (optional)

You’ll need a Food Processor or High Speed Blender!



Place fresh basil, cashews, hemp seeds, nutritional yeast, garlic, lemon Juice, Himalayan sea salt, and black pepper all into your food processor and blend until smooth.

Add olive oil into the mixture and blend until the pesto is smooth.

Cook your pasta to your liking – I love al dente.

Place 1-2 tablespoons of pesto onto your pasta and top with cherry tomatoes.
