Leafy vegetables, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and even potatoes. Each week for the month of April, we will feature a salad from a different country. These recipes are delicious, good for you and easy to prepare.
Our second salad recipe take us to Greece. Greece is considered the cradle of western civilization, the birthplace of democracy, the Olympic Games and delicious food. Fresh salad, tomatoes, and olives are all part of a healthy Mediterranean diet. Καλή όρεξη! (Translated- Enjoy your meal!)
