Greening Your Life, Vol. 8 / No. 1, March 2013

March 2013

Vol. 8 , No. 1

Dear Friends,

As spring gets into full swing, many families - kids especially - also experience a season of new growth and discovery. This month Dr. Rosen writes about "Rx Nature" and the value of free play outdoors. We also feature easy ways to reap the health benefits of gardening, with tips for every experience level.

For those needing to stay indoors, research even shows that a view outside or pictures of nature scenes can promote healing. Indoor health is the focus of our “Healthier Home Renovations” article, which many families encounter as living arrangements change with the cycles of family life.  Also this issue, Holistic Nurse Maureen McDonnell reveals keys to healthy and happy aging with ideas that can be put into place on any budget, at any age. And if cleaning is on your spring to-do list, be sure to check out our "Greening Your Cleaning" guide to doing it safely.

This spring as always, we strive to provide practical tips and tools to make this the healthiest season yet for your family.

Wishing you wellness,

Deirdre Imus
