Healthy Peanut Butter & Jelly French Toast

An easy, delicious, and nutritious twist on your average French toast! Every peanut butter and jelly filled bite is packed with protein, fiber, and nutrients to make you feel energized and satisfied !

{I recommend using all Organic non-gmo ingredients, this recipe is: Refined-sugar free & dairy-free} 

 

 

Ingredients:

3      Pieces of organic whole grain bread

4      Tablespoons egg whites ( if vegan  use a flax egg) 

1/2   Cup unsweetened cashew or almond milk 

1       Packet stevia 

Dash of cinnamon 

Dash of himalayan pink sea salt

 

Toppings:

Pb2 or any powdered peanut butter ( less calories and more protein, or you can using regular peanut butter)

1/2   Cup of frozen strawberries and blueberries 

Optional: Sliced banana 

 

Directions:

  1. Mix together whites egg, with milk, cinnamon, and salt until it is a blended mixture.
  2. Soak bread in mixture until it is absorbed and moist.
  3. Place your soaked bread into a frying pan sprayed with coconut oil or oil of choice until crispy! 
  4. Melt frozen blueberries and strawberries in a pan until it is a syrup jelly like consistency!
  5. Place it on top of your French toast and drizzle on your peanut butter and sliced bananas! Enjoy!
