June 2016 Vol. 11/No. 2

Dear Friends,
In this issue, we invite you to celebrate DIEHC’s 15 year anniversary of protecting children’s health and the environment. From special events to new website content, we’re honoring the past and planning for the future. Recent community outreach events include The Mother of All Baby Showers, Color Your Life fair for seniors, the Fitness and Wellness Expo at MetLife Stadium, an environmental health Lunch and Learn for clinical staff and more!
As part of the celebration, the Greening The Cleaning® program is taking off in bold directions, engaging facilities in our non-profit mission to reduce toxins for hospitals, schools and other facilities. Read more about our newest product, GTC Zinc-Free Floor Finish and our “trial gallon” program. As always, proceeds from the sale of GTC products benefit the Center’s research and education outreach.
For families making summer plans, integrative pediatrician Dr. Lawrence Rosen shares tips for keeping kids lice-free – without pesticides. With education and outreach central to our mission, we hope you can be a part of our celebration now and into the next 15 years, protecting children’s health and the environment.
Wishing you health and wellness,
Deirdre Imus
