The Deirdre Imus Environmental Health Center Studies Pesticide-Free Head Lice Treatment

Nobody wants head lice, and outbreaks can menace schools.  But pesticides in most head lice treatments have been linked to neurological problems and even cancer, especially in children.  Eliminating exposures to toxins in the environment is part of our mission.

That's why The Deirdre Imus Environmental Health Center(R) is beginning a clinical trial to find a safer, pesticide-free alternative that is readily available to all.  We believe an ounce of prevention can be worth a pound of cure -- especially when there is no cure for most cancers.  By eliminating sources of toxic chemical exposures in the first place, and giving families safer, effective options, we continue to research, educate and advocate for our children’s health.
