Hackensack, NJ – November 30, 2011 - Hackensack University Medical Center recently appointed 11 new members to its Hackensack University Health Network Board of Trustees, Hackensack University Medical Center Board of Governors, Hackensack University Medical Center Advisory Board of Directors and the Hackensack University Medical Center Foundation Board of Trustees.

Frank Fekete of Short Hills, NJ, and Dr. Eric Rackow of Scarsdale, NY; were appointed to the Hackensack University Health Network Board of Trustees. Mr. Fekete, a graduate of St. Peter’s College, has been a managing partner with Mandel, Fekete & Bloom, CPAs, for 26 years. Following several appointments at some of New York City’s finest healthcare institutions, Dr. Rackow founded SeniorBridge Family Companies, Inc. where he now acts as president and CEO.
Four new members – William M. Crane of New York, NY; William V. Hickey of Upper Montclair, NJ; Linda Kang-Baratta of Warren, NJ; and Edward V. Piccinich of Wyckoff, NJ – were all appointed to the HackensackUMC Board of Governors. Mr. Crane is the chairman and CEO of Georgeson, Inc, an investor relations firm, while Mr. Hickey is the president and CEO of Sealed Air Corporation. Mrs. Kang-Baratta is the president of R and C Medical Billing, LLC, a medical billing company with more than 25 years of service. As Executive Vice President of SL Green Realty Corporation, Mr. Piccinich manages one of the largest portfolios in New York City, comprised of 30 million square feet.
Appointments to the HackensackUMC Advisory Board of Directors include: Richard Branca of Ho-Ho-Kus; Richard DeSimone of Far Hills; and Andrew T. Gerleit of Wayne. Mr. Branca is the president of Bergen Engineering Co., a construction and development company, while Mr. DeSimone is the managing general partner of Roxiticus Ventures, LLC, a business financing and M&A advisory firm. Mr. Gerleit currently holds a vice president position with Alfred Sanzari Enterprises, a real estate development company based in Hackensack.
Former New York Giants quarterback and current CBS Sports broadcaster Phil Simms and Christopher Turner of New Canaan, CT, president of Prestige BMW in Ramsey, were appointed to the Hackensack University Medical Center Foundation Board of Trustees.
