Hackensack University Medical Center is pleased to welcome Kevin R. Basralian, M.D., to its Urology Department as part of Hackensack University Medical Group, Urology.
“Dr. Basralian is an award-winning, highly-respected urologist with more than 30 years of experience,” said Ihor S. Sawczuk, M.D., executive vice president and chief medical officer of HackensackUMC. “As an attending physician at Hackensack University Medical Group, Urology, his vast expertise and knowledge will undoubtedly continue to offer our patients the best care available.”
HackensackUMC’s Department of Urology is comprised of physicians with extensive clinical and academic experience in the field of urology. To better serve patients, Hackensack University Medical Group, Urologyoffers a variety of Centers with expanded services that focus on specific urinary disorders. The Centers of Excellence within the Department of Urology are: Urologic Oncology; Prostate Cancer Institute of New Jersey; Center for Minimally Invasive and Robotic Urologic Surgery; Center for Sexual Health and Fertility; Center for Bladder, Prostate and Pelvic Floor Health; Endourology and Stone Center; and the Center for Pediatric Urology.
Dr. Brasralian graduated from Albright College (Reading, PA) and Guadalajara Medical School (Mexico). He received his medical degree from Rutgers Medical School. He completed two years of general surgery and three years of urology residency at Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Basralian also completed a Fellowship in Reconstructive Urology in Edinburgh, Scotland. He has published several papers and made presentations at national meetings on a variety of topics in urology.
