In 1955, a “life-saving” polio vaccine sickened and fatally paralyzed countless children after being declared “safe and effective”

Unless you’re of the appropriate age, you probably won’t recall firsthand the tainted polio vaccines from back in the 1950s that injured and killed countless children, all in the name of “saving lives.” But you should brush up on that history regardless, because it’s happening all over again with the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19). It was the year 1954 when a veteran scientist by the name of Bernice E. Eddy from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) decided to test a batch of new polio vaccines for safety. These vaccines, created by Jonas Salk, had been hailed as a “miracle drug” to cure the dreaded polio illness, much like how the government today is praising a future Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine as a “miracle drug” for this pandemic, even though it doesn’t exist yet.  Read more....
