Increasing Omega-3s Can Decrease Anxiety

New research out of Taiwan suggests treatment with omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) may help reduce symptoms of anxiety, rates of which continue to climb in the U.S. and worldwide.  Anxiety now impacts the lives of some 40 million Americans and 1 in 4 senior citizens is thought to be dependent on antianxiety medications like Valium or Xanax.
