Living Near Busy Streets Increases Your Health Risks

A recent study published in Environmental Health has found a link between living close to a busy road and the development of non-Alzheimer’s dementia and Parkinson's disease. The researchers collected data from residents ages 45 to 84 in the Metro area of Vancouver, Canada. Their goal was to evaluate associations between living close to a busy road, exposure to air pollution and the effect of noise and green areas on the development of neurological conditions.
