These highly educated healthcare professionals care for patients in the inpatient antepartum unit, mother-baby post-partum rooms, newborn nurseries, neonatal intensive care nursery, maternal-fetal medicine perinatal diagnostic unit, and in labor and delivery.

Nursing specialists working in OB/GYN areas include labor and delivery nurses, lactation consultants, perinatal advanced practice nurses, mother-baby nurses, antepartum nurses, and neonatal nurses. All nurses working in the labor and high-risk ante partum delivery unit, mother-baby unit, and neonatal intensive care nursery are certified in Neonatal Resuscitation.
