About Us

The John Theurer Cancer Center Pharmacy stocks a large inventory of brand-name medications, generic drugs, and specialty medications that are not regularly carried by other pharmacies, with a specific focus on medications used to treat cancer. We accept prescriptions from patients in all areas of the medical center, including the clinics, emergency room, same-day surgery, occupational medicine, physical rehabilitation, and the stem cell transplantation program. We also fill prescriptions for employees and their immediate families.

Our Advantage

Our primary advantage is that we are in synergy with our physicians on staff and are intimately familiar with their prescription patterns. Frequent communications with our physicians enables us to stock the most common and not-so-common medications and compounds they prescribe. We also stock new medications and take special orders by request from our physicians. We can easily locate hard-to-find medications and are able to get complicated medications to patients quickly.
