Dermatology

Children are precious and have their own medical needs that can be vastly different from adults. They deserve their own medical specialists when faced with a medical problem or illness. That’s why the Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital established New Jersey’s first Pediatric and Adolescent Dermatology Center for the diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases and disorders in infants, children, and adolescents.

The team provides comprehensive pediatric dermatology services geared to making patients comfortable and reassured about their healthcare. The latest medications and advanced technology available are utilized to treat all types of skin diseases and disorders.

Patients are cared for in the Pediatric and Adolescent Dermatology Center’s state-of-the-art outpatient facility and in the hospital’s inpatient pediatrics unit, emergency room, pediatric intensive care unit, and neonatal intensive care unit.  Our Pediatric Dermatologists are available for consultation with other physicians on pediatric dermatology cases.
