Pediatric ENT

The Pediatric Otolaryngology department at the Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital provides comprehensive management of medical and surgical diseases of the ears, nose and throat (ENT) in children from birth through adolescence.   

We Specialize in treating the ear, nose, throat and related structures of the face and neck. This includes common ENT problems such as ear infections;  hearing loss;  large tonsils and recurrent throat infections, sleep apnea; chronic nasal obstruction and sinusitis, as well as more complex problems such as congenital and acquired airway abnormalities and  tumors and masses of the head and neck.

When required we provide diagnostic, flexible and rigid endoscopic examination of air, food and sinus passages, endoscopic sinus surgery, myringotomy (ear tubes), management of patients with loss of hearing and balance disorders.

Otolaryngologists are medical doctors who have specialized training in the management of ear, nose and throat disorders and in head and neck surgery.  A pediatric otolaryngologist takes care of children who require specialized care.  Dr. Quraishi has extensive experience in the management of pediatric ear, nose and throat disease; her clinical interests include congenital and acquired airway disease, obstructive sleep apnea, sensorineural hearing loss, and masses of head and neck.
