What do I need to do to prepare for my visit to the Executive Health Program?
Once you have scheduled your appointment, we will handle all the necessary arrangements to make your visit as easy as possible. We will:

  • have your medical records sent here so your physician can review your past history and prepare for any special tests that may be necessary on the day of your visit
  • coordinate your travel arrangements
  • valet park your car
  • provide a personal escort for you throughout each step of your Executive Health assessment

Where is the Executive Health Program located?
In Suite 100 on the first floor of the Hackensack University Medical Plaza, directly on the main campus of the medical center at 20 Prospect Avenue in Hackensack. We are located just minutes from New York City and many major roads, including Route 80, Route 17, the Garden State Parkway, and the New Jersey Turnpike.

What do I need to bring for my visit?
You should wear comfortable clothes and bring any work or leisure reading materials, craft supplies, or other activities for time in between appointments. Bring any prescription medications that you are currently taking and your eyeglasses, if you wear them. You may find it useful to write a list of questions or concerns that you’d like to discuss with your physician. 

What is the schedule of the day?
Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by a personal representative who will attend to your needs during the day and accompany you from one appointment to the next. International patients are assigned a personal interpreter or representative.

You will meet with your physician for consultation in the morning. This individualized attention enables our medical experts to fully investigate your concerns and then organize your appropriate tests. Once your testing has been completed, your physician will review and interpret your results and then assemble a comprehensive assessment of your health and fitness. He will meet with you at the close of the day for a summary of your health status and to discuss with you strategies for improvement.

A complete and confidential report will be sent to you within a few weeks. You will also have private access to your health report online. Your Executive Health physician remains available to help you with other medical needs and referrals to Hackensack University Medical Center specialists.

What amenities are available?
You are welcome to relax in our luxurious Executive Health lounge, furnished with plush furniture and a stylish decor. Phone lines are available if you wish to consult with colleagues or conduct business over the Internet. Copying and faxing services are available. Private rooms are available for confidential business activities. You will be served a continental breakfast and a tasty lunch while you are here.

How is payment handled?
Payment is expected on the day of service. There will be a flat fee for your Executive Health physical. This is a non-reimbursable charge because Executive Health does not participate with Medicare or any health insurance carriers for this service. Additional testing will be submitted to your insurance carrier for reimbursement, and therefore is subject to the terms and limitations of your insurance policy.

If you must cancel your appointment, we require 48 hours of notice, or a penalty fee will be incurred.
