Possible Tests Prior to Surgery:

• Recent CT Scan of Chest
• Pulmonary Function Tests
• Pre-admission Testing: May include Chest x-ray, lab tests, EKG
• MRI Brain
• Pet Scan

24 Hours Prior to Surgery:

• You will receive a call from the hospital giving important information for your surgery including:
  • Time of arrival to hospital
  • Time of surgery
• Nothing to eat or drink after midnight
• Follow instructions as provided by your surgeon
• Take medications as discussed with your surgeon
