Combining medical expertise, advanced technology, and state-of-the-art hospital and surgical facilities, the Department of Urology at Hackensack University Medical Center provides patients with innovative diagnostic, treatment, prevention, and screening services for the full range of urologic disorders and diseases.
Our faculty practice urologists and those on our medical staff who are community-based are board-certified or board-eligible in the specialty of urology — the medical care and surgical treatment of disorders and diseases of the male and female urinary systems and the male reproductive system. Many of our urologists have completed advanced fellowship training in a subspecialty, such as urologic oncology, laparoscopy, robotic surgery, endourology, male infertility, sexual disfuntion, or pediatric urology.
Our innovations — such as robotic surgery and nephrectomy, sacral nerve stimulation, laparoscopy, cryosurgery, microsurgery, TomoTherapy (R) and clinical research into urologic cancers, kidney disease, urinary incontinence, and male infertility — make the Department of Urology an international leader in the field. Urologists across the nation seek out our experts for consultation and education.
