Rosemarie “Ro” Sorce, of Hackensack, an enthusiastic, devoted member of the HackensackUMC Board of Governors and Foundation Board of Trustees, along with her patriotic companions, Cono Spinelli of South Hackensack; Peter Vallas of Hackensack; Pasqualina Bikoff of Hackensack; and Sherma Andrews of Ridgewood recently visited patients at the Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital at HackensackUMC to celebrate America’s birthday.
During their visit, the group carried baskets filled with coloring books and crayons to give to the young patients and entertained the children, their families and the staff with songs. Ro and her friends visit patients several times a year on special occasions to help brighten their hospital stay.
