Probiotics for your heart: Eat yogurt twice a week to reduce risk of heart attack in those with high blood pressure by up to 30%

Results from a recent study reveal that probiotic-rich yogurt can help reduce the risk of a heart attack by at least 30 percent in individuals who have high blood pressure. The study reveals that consuming at least two servings of yogurt weekly will help lower the risk of women with hypertension suffering a cardiovascular event, like a heart attack or stroke, by as much as 30 percent.
