Epigenetics Facts on Obesity:

Environmental factors in our everyday lives can change our genetic makeup and that of future generations. Scientists study this in the field of epigenetics, which examines the role of the environment on genes. By exploring metabolic disorders to uncover new evidence of gene-based links to obesity, scientists are gaining new understanding of the role of chemicals and other exposures on obesity.
