Rise in Americans dying ever younger: Mortality rates creep up 6% among under-65s as life expectancy falls for the third year in a row, study finds

Death rates among working-age Americans are rising, which is decreasing life expectancy, a new study suggests. Researchers found that mortality rates for US adults between ages 25 and 64 have risen by six percent since 2010. Despair has been named as a potential cause for the spike in deaths related to drugs, alcohol, and suicide, referred to by some as 'deaths of despair'.  Read more.....
