The Angels of Hope Foundation, a charity organization benefiting women’s health services at the John Theurer Cancer Center at Hackensack University Medical Center, hosted a celebration to honor the dedicated staff and their generous supporters on Wednesday, December 7. More than 150 staff members attended the Winter Wonderland “Angels Christmas Celebration.”
“This celebration is the perfect way to thank the amazing John Theurer Cancer Center staff for providing superior care to the patients and our generous donors for supporting our mission,” said Lynn White, founder of the Angels of Hope Foundation. “Together, we have created a beautiful environment for women fighting cancer to help them feel as comfortable as possible throughout treatment.”
The Angels of Hope Foundation has raised $1,200,000 since its inception in November 2003. At this event, the charity extended a special thank you to its most generous donors, Eisai Pharmaceuticals and Tiffany & Co.
“We are truly grateful for the tireless efforts of the Angels of Hope Foundation to help the John Theurer Cancer Center provide the best possible treatment experience for our patients,” said Andrew Pecora, M.D., F.A.C.P., C.P.E, Chief Innovations Officer, Professor, and Vice President of Cancer Services, John Theurer Cancer Center.

The Angels of Hope Foundation was formed in 2003 by Sutton East Boutique owner Lynn White, and consists of a local network of volunteers based in Wyckoff, New Jersey. The group is dedicated to raising funds to create awareness about women's health issues including breast, ovarian, cervical, colon and uterine cancer.
