In its second year, the American Girl Fashion Show® at Hackensack University Medical Center – benefiting the Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital at the medical center – is back in full effect! The model search for the three-day show in November will be Friday, August 19 and Saturday, August 20 at The Shops at Riverside, on the first level outside of Barnes & Noble, located at 390 Hackensack Avenue, in Hackensack. Registration will be from 1 – 2 p.m. and interviews will be from 2 – 5 p.m.

The fashion show will allow young girls to confidently walk down a runway dressed to match their favorite American Girl Doll outfits. As family and friends look on, the girls will take the audience through various periods of U.S. history as they represent each doll.

“The Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital is very happy to partner with the wonderfully wholesome and educational brand of American Girl®,” said Kimberly Caesar of Hackensack, director of Development, Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital.“We are thrilled to once again have been chosen as the only non-profit in Northern New Jersey to host the American Girl Fashion Show.”
