Members of HackensackUMC as well as the Forget Me Not Foundation took part in the Resolve Through Training Conference at HackensackUMC. Thirty HackensackUMC staff members attended the training to enable them to care for the families who have experienced a fetal death. The event was supported by the Forget Me Not Foundation.
The Forget Me Not Foundation is an organization “dedicated to supporting families who have lost babies during pregnancy, birth, or shortly after birth and educating the medical community about the emotional needs of such families.” It raises funds to support a variety of educational programs for medical professionals to help these families in their times of need. It was founded in honor of Emma Grace Barry, who was a baby born still on August 11, 2009.
