This state just banned religious exemptions for vaccines

Amid a measles outbreak in New York — the worst in 25 years — the state has eliminated religious exemptions from school vaccination requirements. The legislation was signed into law Thursday by Gov. Andrew Cuomo. He said in a statement, “The science is crystal clear: Vaccines are safe, effective and the best way to keep our children safe. This administration has taken aggressive action to contain the measles outbreak, but given its scale, additional steps are needed to end this public health crisis."  Read more....
