Your Antidepressants Are Bad For The Environment, Study Show

For millions of people around the globe, antidepressants are vital medications. Unfortunately, once those pharmaceuticals have done their job inside our bodies, their biochemical effects don't stop there.  Two researchers from the University of Portsmouth are calling for greater awareness of the risks posed by our prescriptions once they've been flushed into the environment, in the hope we might find ways to reduce their ecological impact.  Read more...
